Extract selected pages from a PDF
NetroDoc creates a new PDF containing only the pages you choose from the original document.
Enter individual page numbers or ranges such as 1-3,5,8. The output keeps the selected pages in their original document order.
How to extract PDF pages
Upload your PDF
Choose the PDF that contains the pages you want to keep.
Enter the pages
Use page numbers or ranges, for example 1-3,5,8. Duplicate page references are included once.
Extract and download
Start Extract PDF Pages and download the new PDF containing only the selected pages.
How page extraction works
The source PDF is validated before processing. Password-protected PDFs are not accepted by this tool; use Unlock PDF first when you are authorized and know the password.
Selections are validated against the source page count. Ranges must run from a lower page number to a higher one and cannot refer to pages outside the document.
The resulting PDF follows the original document order. Repeated page numbers are kept only once, so a selection such as 5,1,3,3 produces pages 1,3,5.
The PDF is rewritten with only the selected pages. This can invalidate existing digital signatures, and bookmarks or links that point to removed pages may no longer be meaningful.
When is Extract PDF Pages useful?
Share only relevant pages
Create a smaller document containing only the sections someone needs.
Build a focused handout
Pull selected pages from a longer report, manual, or study document.
Remove unrelated sections
Keep the needed pages without manually recreating the document.
Prepare another PDF workflow
Create a selected-page copy before rotating, compressing, protecting, or merging it.
Temporary processing and file handling
The PDF is processed in a temporary working directory on the NetroDoc server and is not intentionally sent to a third-party conversion API.
The uploaded source is not modified. NetroDoc creates a separate PDF containing the selected pages.
Temporary files are removed after the response is sent or when processing fails. No account is required for this tool.
