Add clear sequential page numbers to a PDF

How page numbering is applied
Page numbers are added as an overlay near the selected page edge. The sequence increases by one for each PDF page, starting from the number you choose.
Very small pages are rejected if there is not enough safe space for the numbering overlay. The original upload is not modified.

Can I choose where the number appears?
Yes. Choose top-left, top-centre, top-right, bottom-left, bottom-centre, or bottom-right.
Can numbering start at a number other than 1?
Yes. The starting value can be changed before processing.
Does NetroDoc renumber existing printed numbers?
No. It adds a new overlay and does not detect or replace numbers already printed in the page content.
