What NetroDoc does

NetroDoc provides practical tools for common document and image tasks. Current workflows cover PDF, Word (DOCX), Excel (XLSX), PowerPoint (PPTX), JPG/JPEG, PNG, HEIC, WEBP, and OCR.

The workspace starts with the file you already have and shows only actions that are compatible with it.

  • Merge, split, compress, protect, unlock, crop, reorder, rotate, number, watermark, and edit PDF pages
  • Convert PDF to JPG, PNG, TXT, or Word
  • Convert Word, Excel, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG, HEIC, or WEBP to PDF
  • Convert between JPG, PNG, HEIC, and WEBP formats
  • Compress and proportionally resize JPG or PNG images
  • Extract PDF images and run supported OCR workflows

Built for straightforward use

No account is required for the current conversion tools. Upload a supported file, choose a compatible action, and download the result.

The same core tools are available in multiple languages.

Temporary file processing

Uploaded files are processed in a temporary working directory on the NetroDoc server. The current conversion pipeline does not intentionally send uploaded files to a third-party conversion service or cloud conversion API.

Temporary working directories are removed after the conversion response is completed and are also removed when validation or conversion fails.

Reliability first

NetroDoc is developed around a focused set of working tools rather than a large list of unfinished features.

Important converted files should still be reviewed before use because conversion can change layout, fonts, pagination, formulas, metadata, or image characteristics.

How claims are verified

Testing methodology

NetroDoc is independently operated and maintained as a document-tool service. Technical claims are checked with controlled fixtures against the same conversion and OCR implementation used by the service before measured findings are published.

Tests record the runtime, input fixture, output artifact, and the exact behaviour being checked. A failed evidence check blocks the claim instead of being rewritten as a success.

What we publish and what we do not

Measured results are tied to the tested fixture and date. We distinguish retained text from visual fidelity, a successful OCR sample from a universal accuracy rate, and a temporary-storage lifecycle check from a promise about untested failure modes.

Cases that were not measured stay labelled as untested. Digital-signature preservation is not claimed, and non-default HEIC EXIF orientation remains outside the measured scope because the synthetic encoder normalized our attempted Orientation 6 before the conversion test.

Temporary-file checks

The controlled lifecycle run verified result-folder cleanup after download and expiry cleanup for both conversion and OCR jobs. The configured TTL observed in that run was 3,600 seconds.
