1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using NetroDoc, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use the service.
2. The NetroDoc service
NetroDoc provides browser-based file conversion tools. Available formats, limits, features, and technical requirements may change as the service is improved or maintained.
NetroDoc may reject a file that is unsupported, invalid, unsafe, too large, exceeds processing limits, or cannot be converted reliably.
3. Your files and your responsibility
You remain responsible for the files you upload and for how you use any converted output. You must have the rights, permissions, or other lawful authority needed to upload and process a file through NetroDoc.
You are responsible for checking the converted result before relying on it. File conversion can change formatting, metadata, image quality, fonts, formulas, pagination, or other document characteristics depending on the source file and target format.
4. Prohibited use
You may not use NetroDoc to:
- upload or process content when you do not have the legal right or permission to do so;
- distribute malware, malicious code, or files intended to damage systems or data;
- attempt to bypass file, security, rate, or processing limits;
- probe, attack, disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise;
- use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of another person.
5. Temporary file processing and privacy
NetroDoc processes uploaded files as described in the Privacy Policy. The current conversion pipeline uses temporary server-side working directories and does not intentionally send uploaded files to third-party conversion or cloud APIs.
You should avoid uploading information that is not necessary for the conversion you want to perform.
6. Availability and service changes
We aim to keep NetroDoc available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, security work, infrastructure failures, software defects, network conditions, or other events may temporarily limit or interrupt the service.
We may add, modify, suspend, or remove tools or technical limits when reasonably necessary to operate, secure, or improve NetroDoc.
7. No guarantee of conversion accuracy
Conversions are provided on an “as available” basis. While NetroDoc is designed to produce useful and reliable results, we do not guarantee that every converted file will preserve all formatting, content, functionality, metadata, or visual characteristics of the original.
Where a file or output is important, keep an independent copy of the original and verify the converted result before using, sharing, submitting, printing, or relying on it.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NetroDoc is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses arising from use of or inability to use the service, including loss of data, business interruption, or reliance on an incorrect or incomplete conversion.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, or any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
9. NetroDoc intellectual property
NetroDoc's website design, branding, software, and original service content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of NetroDoc's technology or branding to you.
NetroDoc does not claim ownership of the files you upload merely because you use the conversion service.
10. Security and abuse prevention
NetroDoc may use technical safeguards, validation, processing limits, logging, and other reasonable measures to protect the service, diagnose failures, and prevent misuse. Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to address security risks, abuse, or material violations of these terms.
11. Third-party infrastructure
NetroDoc depends on infrastructure and service providers for functions such as hosting, networking, domain services, and email. Availability of those providers may affect NetroDoc even when the conversion application itself is operating normally.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when NetroDoc's services, technical practices, or legal obligations change. Material updates will be reflected by changing the effective date shown at the top of this page.
Your continued use of NetroDoc after updated terms become effective means the updated terms apply to future use of the service, subject to any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
