Merge multiple PDF files into one document
NetroDoc combines multiple PDF documents into a single PDF while keeping the file order you choose in the workspace.
You can add between 2 and 20 PDF files. The combined upload request is limited to 100 MB and the merged documents can contain up to 2,000 pages in total.
How to merge PDF files
Add your PDFs
Choose or drop two or more PDF files into the Merge PDF workspace.
Set the order
Use the up and down controls to arrange the files in the exact order you want.
Merge and download
Start Merge PDF and download one document containing the pages from all selected files.
What happens when PDFs are merged?
NetroDoc validates every uploaded PDF before combining it. Password-protected PDFs are rejected.
Pages are copied into a new PDF in the displayed file order. Page content, links, annotations, and form widgets are preserved where the PDF engine can copy them safely.
Merging creates a new document structure. Digital signatures and some advanced interactive PDF features may no longer remain valid after the documents are combined.
When is Merge PDF useful?
Combine reports
Join separate chapters, reports, or exported sections into one document.
Create one submission
Combine several PDFs when a portal or recipient expects a single file.
Organize scanned documents
Place separate scanned PDF batches into the order you need.
Build document packs
Create one file from forms, appendices, receipts, or supporting documents.
Temporary file processing
Uploaded PDFs are processed in a temporary working directory on the NetroDoc server and are not intentionally sent to a third-party conversion or cloud API.
Temporary files are removed after the response is sent or when validation or processing fails. No account is required.
